Christian Education

Children’s Church is offered following the Children’s Sermon for children 5 yrs – 5th grade During the Worship Hour.

Nursery care is provided during the adult Sunday School hour and the worship hour.  The adult class invites you to join them at 9a.m. for a class for faith development.


Kid’s  Club

Children Ages 5 through 5th grade meets every Wednesday 5:30-7:00.  Oct.-April For Bible time, crafts, recreation and dinner.


Vacation Bible School

VBS is held for one week each summer.  There are classes for children from 5 yrs. –  5th grade.

6-12 grade are team leaders.

Children are encouraged to participate in these five mornings filled with instruction and fun. Middle School – High School are welcome to attend as Group Leaders.


Youth Group

Grades 5 and up meets usually on Sundays, call for times and dates 873-0067.


The choir is open to all adults and older youth from September – May.  Rehearsals are Wednesday evenings from 7:30 pm – 8:45 pm.



Women’s Bible Study

Women of the church gather for  bible study, prayer and fellowship. The group meets  Thursdays from 2:00 pm – 3:15 pm in the parlor.


Presbyterian Women’s Circle

A social gathering and study group using the Presbyterian Horizen’s book is held the second Tuesday of each month. It is hosted in a home.

Middlers Adult Fellowship Group

Adults of all ages meet usually monthly for a social fellowship of some kind at a restaurant, of other place, or at some ones home for an event.  Its a great time to invite friends and family to come.


Presbyterian International Gourmet Society

Presbyterian International Gourmet Society has monthly home gatherings where potluck food of a specified international country is shared from  6:00-8:00 p.m. on a Saturday. All welcome.



Our men’s team plays in a league with other church teams in the Spring.


Country Fair

Every November we hold a Country Fair on the church grounds.  This consists of a crafts, bake sale, book sale, silent auction and music.  The proceeds from this big event go toward benevolence the church supports throughout South Texas and beyond.


Fellowship Hall

The church hosts many non-profit groups during the week such as the Boy Scouts, Daisys and Brownies, Support Groups, Women’s Crisis Center and others.  It is believed the church buildings should be used and be active other days of the week, than just on Sundays.


Drive 4UR Community Event

This event held at Treasure Hills Church in the Spring each year is a partnership with the Sunburst Rotary Club of Harlingen to raise money for community projects.

In cooperation with Boggus Ford a antique car show, children’s games and free food is provided while people take a free test drive in a brand new Ford of their choice.  Each drive earns a contribution of $20 from Ford National Motor Company.

A potential $6000 can be raised and a matching grant of another $4000 is available from Rotary to have a total of $10,000 towards a worthy community project.  The entire day is a lot of fun and good fellowship. volunteers are always welcome.

Potlucks and Picnics

Every month from Sept – April a Potluck is held following worship with themes such as, Soup & Sandwich. Southern Foods, Soup & Salads, and a Thanksgiving Meal. A old fashioned Church Picnic is held in April on the church grounds  and often another in the summer at some ones home with swimming.


Divorce Care

Tuesdays, Fall Classes and also Spring Classes

For adults who are divorced, going thru one, separated, or thinking of it.  A means to provide Healing, support and help.

Includes classes for children.
